Who we are
Transvera Logistics (“Transvera”, “we”, “us”) provides courier and logistics services in Australia, the United States, the United Kingdom and Europe. For the purposes of data protection law, the Transvera entity that provides your service is the controller of your personal data.
Information we collect
- Shipment information: sender and recipient names, addresses, phone numbers and email addresses, and details of the goods.
- Delivery information: scan events, delivery attempts, proof of delivery (such as the name of the person who received the parcel, a signature or photo).
- Customs information: information required by customs authorities, which may include tax or identification numbers.
- Inquiries: what you tell us when you use our contact form, email or phone us.
- Technical information: limited information needed to run and protect the website, such as a hashed version of your IP address used for rate limiting and fraud prevention.
How we use it
- To collect, transport and deliver shipments, and to handle exceptions and returns.
- To send shipment notifications to senders and recipients.
- To complete customs and other legal requirements.
- To respond to inquiries, quotes, complaints and claims.
- To keep our services and website secure and prevent misuse.
- To meet our legal, accounting and regulatory obligations.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
Public tracking
Anyone with a tracking number can see the shipment's status, milestones, cities and countries, and, after delivery, the recipient's initials. Public tracking never shows full names, street addresses, phone numbers or email addresses. Where enabled, full history requires the destination postcode.
Sharing
We share personal information only where needed: with carriers and delivery partners who handle part of a shipment's journey, customs and government authorities, IT and email service providers acting on our instructions, professional advisers, and where required by law. Our service providers must protect your information and use it only for the services they provide to us.
International transfers
International shipping means personal information travels with the shipment between countries. Where we transfer personal data from the UK or EU to countries without an adequacy decision, we use appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses, or rely on the transfer being necessary to perform the contract.
Retention
We keep shipment and customs records for as long as needed to provide the service and meet legal, tax and claims requirements, and then delete or anonymise them. Inquiry records are kept for as long as needed to resolve the inquiry and any follow-up.
Security
We use technical and organisational measures to protect personal information, including access controls based on staff roles, encrypted connections and audit logging of staff actions.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- access the personal information we hold about you;
- correct inaccurate information;
- have information deleted, where we no longer need it;
- restrict or object to certain processing;
- receive your information in a portable format; and
- withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
To make a request, use our contact form and choose “Privacy or data request”. We will verify your identity before acting on the request and respond within the time required by applicable law.
Australia
We handle personal information in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles. You can request access to or correction of your personal information. If you are not satisfied with our response to a complaint, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC).
United States
Residents of certain US states, such as California, may have additional rights, including the right to know what personal information we collect and how it is used, to request deletion or correction, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights. You may use an authorised agent to submit a request where state law allows.
United Kingdom & Europe
Under the UK GDPR and the EU GDPR, the legal bases we rely on are: performance of a contract (to deliver shipments); legal obligation (customs, tax and record-keeping); legitimate interests (delivering parcels to recipients who are not our customers, security and fraud prevention, improving our services); and consent where we ask for it.
Cookies
We use only strictly necessary cookies. See our Cookie Preferences page for details.

For privacy questions, contact us through the contact form or at infos@transveraglobal.com. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority, such as the OAIC (Australia), the Information Commissioner's Office (UK) or your national supervisory authority in the EU.
